Pasta with chickpeas is one of the most typical dishes in Emilia Romagna rural cuisine. Maltagliati, whose Italian name already reveals their nature, are an egg pasta traditionally made from the offcuts of tagliatelle. The chickpea purée is flavoured with garlic, rosemary, and sage cooked directly with the legumes.

Preparation

1. Add boiling water directly into the pouch — the label shows the suggested quantity and the corresponding fill line inside.
2. Stir carefully, making sure to reach the corners so all the product absorbs the water evenly.
3. Close the zip and wait 10 minutes.
4. Your meal is ready.
