Rice and peas is a spring dish from Veneto,  historically prepared on the day dedicated to St. Mark. It is a spring recipe because its main ingredient is “bisi”, peas in the Venetian dialect. Rice is cooked in a sauté of spring onions, with vegetable broth. Its texture is the dish's most distinctive quality: more liquid than a classic risotto, yet not quite a soup.

Preparation

1. Add boiling water directly into the pouch — the label shows the suggested quantity and the corresponding fill line inside.
2. Stir carefully, making sure to reach the corners so all the product absorbs the water evenly.
3. Close the zip and wait 10 minutes.
4. Your meal is ready.
