Risi e Bisi is a spring dish from Veneto. Traditionally served on 25 April, the feast day of Saint Mark, patron of Venice, this spring dish celebrated the arrival of the first young peas ('bisi' in the Venetian dialect) at the markets.

The rice cooks in a sauté of spring onions with vegetable broth, allowing the fresh peas to retain their bright colour and sweet, delicate spring flavour. Its texture is the dish's most distinctive quality: more liquid than a classic risotto, yet not quite a soup.

Preparation

Add boiling water directly into the pouch. The label shows the quantity and the corresponding level to follow inside the pouch. Once the water has been poured, stir carefully paying attention to the corners so that all the product absorbs the water. Close the zip and wait 10 minutes.Your meal is ready.
