Lentils are the oldest legume cultivated by man. Pasta with lentils is a typical winter dish of southern Italy, completely free of animal fat, but rich in fiber, protein and carbohydrates. In this recipe, the lentils are cooked with the pasta and sautéed garlic, capers, carrots and onion.
